Dear Teachers and Leaders,
Enclosed you will find the Blue Ribbon Club Scholarship Application together with eligibility rules. Please make as many copies as necessary for distribution to interested students.
These applications will need to be returned by 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2010 to either of the names listed on the application. No applications will be accepted past the deadline of 5:00 PM, March 8, whether mailed or not. Judging will be March 8.
At the 2010 Denton County Youth Fair, the Blue Ribbon Club will be providing about fifteen $500.00 Scholarships available for graduating seniors. In addition, there will be about that same number awarded to past Blue Ribbon Club recipients.
Please follow the directions and return all four pages of the application together with the transcript and letter of recommendation and signed rules/ eligibility form.
Scholarship winners will be notified by the committee prior to the Denton County Youth Fair Dinner. All High School Graduating Senior winners must be present at the Dinner on March 22, 2010, 7:00 P.M. at the North Texas State Fair Exhibits Building to receive their Scholarship.
