PREAMBLE

The Denton County Youth Fair (the " Fair") is organized for educational, charitable and scientific purposes.  The Denton County Livestock Association (DCLA) uses the Fair to encourage and promote the educational aspects of projects conducted by Denton County Youth undet the proper supervision and direction of a county extension agent, an agricultural science teacher, a home economics teacher or an adult 4-H leader.

FFA, FCCLA, and 4-H members entering the show agree to observe all rules of fair competion reject the uses of drug or physical alteration of the livestock or other exhibits, and to refrain from any action that would give an unfair advantage over any other exhibitor.

The purpose of the Fair and the DCLA is to provide an opportunity for FFA, FCCLA, and 4-H  members to exhibit their projects in friendly, fair competition, to educate the public about agriculture and related areas, and to provide for the development of knowledge and resposibility by the participating youth.
